What car do you have?
102 is loud.
Anything this side of a TVR is fine
Lexus ISF with an aftermarket exhaust, secondary cats deleted and much smaller back boxes.

Can one book two track sessions one straight after the other?
I'm sure you could, but they usually advise regular breaks to avoid fatigue.
not sure you could do this as they line the next sesh up whist the track is live to keep the downtime to a minimum.

gutted im in Ghent for this so consoled myself by booking the GP circuit on the 20th Nov.

nice to see my old Ludikriss Eunos in the feature foto though......there in spirit

Switching back to the stock exhaust before the day, no point risking it. Looking at getting a camera too, the GitUp Git2 seems to be a reasonably priced alternative to the GoPro Hero4. What mounts are people using?

I don't want to derail this into a 'what action cam' thread, but have a look at the the iON Air Pro Lite. They have a range of camera and options that compare favourably with GoPro.

They have to be signed in, attend the safety briefing, and wear the appropriate wrist band.

That's fine. Mrs wants to ride shotgun on my 10.10 sesh.

Not sure what time the briefing is, but we'll aim to get there in good time.

Is it free or is it £10 does anyone know? laugh

hehe

If my run last year was anything to go by, don't do this! My poor little Westfield spent most of its time sideways...driving

I'm tempted by this one, but have a trackday and a sprint to get through first so I'll not book until I know the car's in one piece...

I spoke to Matt at Silverstone today about another track day booking and he said the day is proving popular and he's been taking calls all day. They've also been punting it around Facebook

Thanks Alex. Not the end of the world if I don't get track time, I've had a good year in that regard already so anything else is a bonus. If not I'll pop along and watch smile

I won't be taking the Indy Matt, unless the weather is really good. I'm not sure I could nurse it through the noise test. It is LOUD,laugh The focus is going to get it though!hehe

I'll have a look at the afternoon sessions, cheers. There was space in the first inters session but I don't think the focus is quick enough for that.

Are you taking the fez or ginetta? We are going anyway, I will come and find you mate!biggrin
