And another view of the 10.45 session... Seemed to be the busiest one... This is a good video to watch if you're planning a drive around Silverstone... The instructions from my passenger are amazing...

Thanks for capturing me get maggots & becketts completely wrong @ 23.30 laugh

Yet another cracking day on track!
Indeed well played in the A3. I enjoyed watching your lines (TVR) I’m looking forward to the next... the way the instructors at Briefing were sucking through their teeth when they said it’s greasy and I told them what car I was in. Made me very pedestrian through and out of bends. Still that’s what learning is all about.
I was a bit sad to see you disappear into the distance but good god what a great news your TVR makes. Till the next time.

Glad to see this was mostly fun this time! We didn't attend purely because my Mrs won't go anymore after some abuse she got on here from a few knobs last year after the track sessions. Funny thing is, she wasn't doing anything wrong and the people moaning were generally driving like arses.

Might give it another go next year but very much looking forward to the Goodwood day in December, that's always good on track. thumbup

So, if you're the red Boxster driver from the 11:20 session who was causing multiple tail backs and making it extremely frustrating for the less powerful but faster cars than you, take this track etiquette advice on board.
I wasn't.

Was the whole day not about taster sessions for members to try a track day in a safe environment?
A few people on here slagging others off who do not possess their GOD like driving prowess-it's sad and I would suggest not in the spirit of how the PH team would like things done!
It was my first track day and I will definitely be going to more but less of the negativity please.....

Were you in the red Boxster then? hehe
I wasn't in the session so can't comment, but maybe it was the fact that it was an Intermediate session that got people annoyed.

Also, the rules that were read out / talked about in the briefing before each session stated the etiquette for slower cars being caught / tailed / getting in the way of faster cars.

It wasn't a proper track day but sticking your head up your bum for 20+ laps is wasting other people's time and money.

I had loads of fun in my blue Caterham. It's amazing how fast you can go with just 140bhp. A few hold ups by people who cannot lift off on the straights for 5 seconds but that always happens. Looking forward to more Sunday Services.

To echo what people are saying, yes it's a taster session for people who haven't driven on track before (not the intermediate sessions, obviously), but taking a note of the briefing info and being considerate to the other people on track is very important regardless.

Yes we all had to start somewhere, but without someone pointing out we were in the wrong, we wouldn't learn...

I was in the grey E60 M5 in the 10.10 session Shaoxter.
I had 3 passengers so was in and out of the pits.
I didn't realize the Guy booked the intermediate session but I bet he wont do it again....

Didn't realise we could take back seat passengers. Next time I'll be sure to offer it out

Neither did I mate-that's why I was in and out of the pits!
Front seat passengers only apparently they kicked the rear passengers out in the pit lane.

After I had hired helmets for them aswell.....

I wasn't allowed to last year in the 540i

Think I did see the E60 stop in the pits a few times for a driver change tho

Belated thanks to PH for organising. Haven't been to a Sunday Service for a while, but couldn't miss the Silverstone one! Big thanks to Ben again for a ride in the Megane. That thing was seriously, seriously impressive biggrin
