It's local and there's plenty of space so I'm going anyway - shame that no email is sent in the last 24/36 hours before the event...

Nice morning out although I was a bit worried when driving the Exige thought an off road course to get to a field... Super low cars should be directed to the other car parks really.

This Exige looked lovely!

Nice pics GFwilliams! Nice pair of lotus's (loti?) too.

Was a good morning out, nice weather, nice cars and a good traffic free drive over. Loved the Ford GT; GT2 RS, '67 (?) Mustang GT350, Alfa 105, 911 RSR being particular highlights too

Agree about the off-road course to get in! We arrived first (we got cross country a bit quicker then maybe we should have) and even in my very normal car i had to take it easy! Some people were very brave taking some very low stuff in!

Excellent event this morning so thanks to the organising team. Great selection of machinery both in the field and upper hard surface car park. BMW Z1 was a treat and the Opel Speedster a rare sight and GT40 added some V8 muscle.

Thanks for another great morning. Fabulous selection of cars. I loved seeing the 240 Volvo and the Astra GTE alongside a GT2RS and a Ford GT. Nowhere else you’ll find such variance. smile

Grass wasn’t too bad, but mine isn’t low compared to some. Hope that no PH folk were caught up in the accident outside afterwards, air ambulance is never a good sign.

Great meet, nice variety of cars. The grass did worry me, but going slow got it on ok. I did think the Lotus above must have struggled being even lower than mine. Big thanks to the lad directing the cars in who kicked the pile of grass clippings away so I didn't plough them while parking!

A great morning with a nice selection of cars.

I hope the BMW owner was able to stick their numberplate back on. It just randomly fell off as I was standing there!

I arrived just as the air ambulance was landing (so really after the event had finished). It was involving a Mini Clubman S just outside the roundabout. Afterwards it was police taped off. Not good, and hope everyone involved makes a recovery.

Great morning! I think if it rained, the grass could have got interesting for a few cars - thankfully it didn't!

I arrived in convoy with the Mk2 Golf GTI and the Astra GTE, saw a lot of love for that car.

Ended up at a classic car show and hillclimb event in Westerham, a perfect car day biggrin

Sorry to hear the news of an accident needing an air ambulance though!

Nice morning out! Denbies is such a lovely venue, even the Mrs came out for breakfast there this morning.

I did worry driving in at first! Scraped a few times, how some others got in / out is beyond me!

Couple of pics (got a hankering for an e92 M3 at the moment!)

Absolutely gutted I didn't get to make this one... I set off with the Mrs at 8 this morning... only to get a blow out after hitting a pot hole just before the dartford bridge. A suboptimal morning!

Can't wait to actually make the next one!

It was a bit daunting but slow and steady got the Exige parked up ok. Taking the other route out avoiding the grassy incline that we came in by helped a lot too. To avoid all of the above it would be great of super-low motors would just be directed to the hard standing. Anyway, doesn't help I have a snow plough fitted.

Parking concerns aside, we had a great morning. Lovely cars, folk, weather and setting. Cheers PH, as always.

I recognise that one - my Z4 is parked next to it! Five of us and a Toyota Supra met up and made it in convoy.

Where else do you get everything from a 1980s Volvo 240 to a Mercedes SLS! cool

That was a really nice BMW Z1, and it was good to see the Golf GTi and Astra GTE together. Plus too many other outstanding cars to mention them all.

Thanks to everyone on PH and at Denbies for organising a great morning. thumbup

Nice pic GFWilliams,..that’s my machine!

It’s not really suitable for parking in a field but I made it in and out...just. Someone suggested I could drive up and down and put some stripes in the lawn!

Really pleasant morning with an especially eclectic mix of fantastic cars. Well done PH.
