I wouldn’t be fussed but it is teddy bear run and Bicester Sunday scramble that day

Totally depends where it is. Couldn’t care less about F1.

Another suggestion, as you are bothering to organise it’s not out of the way for you to ask for a contribution from those attending. £2 -£5. Work out how much you need to pay for your logistics and if you are minded give a bit to charity. Can’t see anyone objecting.
