Okay folks, as tomorrow is my birthday and I have the day off I'll be doing the thing that everybody who doesn't have to go to work on their birthday should do....... prepping my mums car for sale. I need some advice though on the following factors :

One.
Does anybody know or have they knowledge of a step by step idiot guide to removing the rear sliding door card on a Peugeot Partner Combi as one of the rear sliding door handles doesn't seem to be connected to anything - Have tried Google, but keep seem to be drawing blanks.

Two.
Anybody have any ideas (of the cheap variety) on how to eliminate the overiding smell of Horse from the car (yes she's one of those people)

Three.
Another guide is needed for removing the multifunction display on the top of the dash as that seems to have a blown back light bulb making it almost unreadable unless you've got near direct light on it.

Four.
Anybody know of any good breakers yards in Greater Manchester where I with luck can pick up a little black blanking disc for the opening rear quarter light hinge? Again I appear to be drawing blanks and would really appreciate a personal recomendation.

Five.
Anybody know of a good therapist that can talk some sense into me for agreeing to sell a less than diserable car on behalf of family with overly high expectations.

Seriously though folks, any and all help would be appreciated.

Stu

2) Yes. My last car came with a smell of wet dog. My mother suggested bicarb of soda. Sprinkle liberally into carpets, leave for a few days then hoover out. Smell was gone on first treatment.
GF had cat trouble lately and it took more than one treatment. I think if the smell is in your soft furnishings, this will fix it.

Good luck selling the Berlingo wink

Right well yesterday was slightly more productive than I thought it would be.

Got the MFD sorted - replace three tiny little bulbs and bang we have light once more (and it's clearer than it was when mum first go the darned thing)

Got the external door release off to try and diagnose the problem and it would appear that the pivot pin has sheered-very clean break though and the tamed mechanic next door thinks it's a fault in the casting, unfortunately because of the age of the vehicle no chance getting pug to replace it FOC and would also appear that you can't get the pin seperately unless you order it off some bloke on Ebay in Poland! So me thinks trip to a breakers is in order and see if I can cannibalise something.

Finally have managed to get a start on the horse smell, a good hit with the steam cleaner has worked wonders and it will be hit with the bicarb tonight so hopefully I can get the bloody thing ready for sale by the weekend (and the sooner it goes the better lol)
