Unfair dismissal at it's worst. You wouldn't sack someone for dying their hair would you? rolleyes
I've seen it happen. A previous place of work had very strict guidelines on what was, and was not acceptable, in terms of personal appearance. You were given a handbook explaining it all before you started. Break the rules, get bagged.
If it's laid out in such a way it could simply be a case of a breach of contract or considered gross misconduct; but as soon as someone takes that company to tribunal over it and have a legitimate reason for the tattoo (posthumous or religious for example) the company policy would have to change.

I never judge anyone by their appearance. People who demonstrate pre-judgmental bias towards people with tattoos (I have none by the way) are as bad as people who are racist, sexist, homophobic or discriminate anyone for any reason.

If I were starting at a new job and I was handed such a document I would suggest somewhere to shove it.
So, tell me you have not formed an opinion on this doushebag then. You know he is a cock

OK, if someone got a posthumous tattoo, I wouldn't sack them, what with them being dead and all

judging someone by the way they have chosen to present themselves is perfectly valid btw

Rather close minded.
How can you or I possibly know he's a cock? I've never met the guy, have you?

Because it's an opinion that I am entitled to have. Anyone who does that to their face is a cock in my book, plain and simple

Ok great, I'm glad you have an opinion but my point still stands. How can you or I possibly know he is a cock? You can believe in your close mindedness that he is but you cannot truly know.

You don't have to meet someone to form an opinion dannyboy.

Literature is strewn with the wreckage of men who have minded beyond reason the opinions of others.

Exactly, but you do have to meet someone to know they are a cock, you said earlier you know he's a cock. You can't possibly know but you can be of that opinion.
Yes I'm being overly pedantic but as I have many friends with many tattoos some even face tattoos this sort of stereotype royally pisses me off.

Photo 1 is wearing a suit, therefore he takes time to look good.

Photo 2 is a chap running a marathon.

What other opinions are there to form from those photos? I've never met either man in real life so I can only go on what I see, a businessman and a runner. Couldn't comment on their personalities at all.

'Knights of the Road'. Those who will stop free flowing traffic to let someone out. Not in town in a slow queue of traffic, but in an NSL zone, they suddenly brake to a halt for a car turning out from a junction on the left, or a right turner coming the other way.

I got rear ended once when the traffic stopped for one of these 'good deeds' from a driver a few cars in front, and the driver behind didn't notice until too late.

Fortunately the worst junction for this round my way will be no more soon, when the road gets dualled.

Yes! This! They do it all the time in 30 and 40 limits round me. Slowing down in snarled up traffic fine, but slamming your brakes on from 30, never mind 60, is annoying. On top of that one day a lorry is going to not be looking and take me out as they were not expecting it.

Why is it, that these people with incredibly expensive cars that pop up on PH every now and then, with a few exceptions where they turn out to be real, never know how to upload a picture to the internet?

"I will put some photos up later when i download some to my pc and figure out how to do it. "
Probably because they don't really give a toss, and don't have time to learn? Earning that amount of money where you can have a garage full of Ferraris as 'toys' doesn't leave you with a lot of free time to mess about on an internet forum!
