But we aren't in a shop are we? But let's go with your analogy....

If there was enough room for people to queue side by side, thus reducing the need to crowd the aisles and there was a big bloody sign saying queue side by side and merge in turn at the till, then yes I bloody well would!

The issue is small minded people who upon seeing a reduction in lane capacity 1/2 mile up the road move over to the left far far too early, what they should do is continue up to the obstruction and merge in turn, but no they cause a bloody long queue then bh that other people don't share their mentality.

There are a few of these near me - I think it really depends on the road conditions at the time what I do - more often than not whizz up the right lane, find a suitable gap near the end and nip in, noone loses pace and job done - but you can hear them all tutting as one goes by.

What really pisses me off, the oid in the Suzuki face 4x4 who decided to straddle the white line, when I was about fking 10 ing yards from overtaking the cockbag! I had to swerve obviously, going over the solid white line to my right, fortunate enough noone was approaching from the other way.

And the total purple headed veiny thundercock bellend had the audacity to waggle his finger at me, and flash his lights. The "30mph in a NSL" .

what was she expecting anyway, extra points for being a tard?

question is - was she hot?

it isn't personal, and i was partly joking. I'm saying if she got the answer wrong (and they always say you have to have it exactly right in these quizzes) then you can't just pull out your blue badge and start waving it around and shouting in a whiney voice! If it was an issue she could either plan around it, or not do it at all. Was there no-one else on her team that could have done the scribe task instead of her?

I'm sure i remember seeing it written that the toyota prius causes more environmental damage than a landrover discovery. Producing the batteries is a major part of the damage.
You may have seen it written but that doesn't make it true.

I think the most famous article compares a Prius and a Hummer.
It’s very well written in that it seems to be true even though it’s a pile’o’crap.

The prius isn’t as green friendly as some people make out, but it’s a lot better than most cars.
I suppose it really comes down to how long one will last before it has to be replaced. Although they're like 95% recyclable so that helps.
Indeed. That report stated that the Hummer would do twice as many miles in it's lifetime as the Prius. It was total rubbish and quickly denounced by any one with a brain who read it.

A little rage on the topic of the 'blue badge'.

At a local pub quiz, marking the cryptic clues round and a table had given the answer Chick Kiev - obviously chicken if you apply common sense to the cryptic clue.

Some mid twenties girl kicks off (sad cow for a starters but she was quite hot) - moaning about her being dyslexic and that they should be marked correct. One of the lads I was with piped up with an epic comeback of "What's your excuse for the others then?" (massive lol).

Mid twenties girl took this very badly but went back on topic of the chicken kiev and produced A BLUE fkING BADGE simply because she was dyslexic.

WHAT. THE. fk.

People at uni claiming £1000 laptops because they couldn't spell was bad enough, but the fact the government are giving out blue badges for this too is fking ridiculous.
Bullst. You can't get a blue badge for dyselxia.

I’d agree with you.
As someone who has links with people with learning difficulties and downs syndrome I get annoyed with people who use the phrases retard and mong and so forth.

But, most the time the people using them don’t realise what the word means and/or are just using it as a generic insult.

Sometime people know the unpleasantness of the word but this makes it a better insult – they just don’t realise how it can offend those who have to read it rather than just the person it was aimed at.

Language changes.
Idiot and Moron used to have specific meanings in terms of mentally handicapped but now they are just generic terms.
Don’t let it bother you.

That probably sounds a bit sanctimonious.
But it’s just the way it is.

Oh, things that make me think Knob, in relation to my previous post.

People who use dyslexia as an excuse to not bother trying.

Much as it sucks, dyslexia does not mean you don’t have to try to make meaningful sentences, it actually means you have to try harder.
MTFU and deal with it, don’t expect everyone else to deal with it for you.

If you try and you get it wrong people are a lot more understanding than if you don’t try at all.

So do you have the same view of people in those mobility scooters because they have a dodgy hip? they could walk but its difficult so they take the electric thing all the time. Normally means they are overweight too.

I think the whole 'you have to like football to be a real man' statement is very knobbish. Oh,and the 'my tv is bigger than your tv' brigade, "what size is it?" "Its 52 inch"."You should have got the 60". Why? Just.... Why?

Anything over 50 inches will be put in a council flat or a mansion. And there aren't that many rich people around. And its Rugby surely if you want man points?

That's my point,I've been brought up being taken to watch wigan warriors with my dad, and watch it every chance I get,but football,I really can't see the appeal, byt at the same time I wouldn't slate someone for liking it.

I’ve been doing some judicious driving lately. By simply (but religiously) keeping my maximum speed down to 50mph(80kph) where I could otherwise do 70(112), and by being very gentle on the accelerator, I have found I improve my consumption by between 20% and 40%! Some of this may be due to the fact I’m driving a Prius, which has a fairly high-tech fuel management system...

I take it you would go up to someone who is in a wheelchair and tell them to MTFU and walk? Or should they just be excluded from places, as happend before wheelchair access became a legal requirement?

I take it you think dyslexia is just spelling. It is so much more and some have real problems with punctuation and capitalization, others with spelling, others with other language areas.

And how would you suggest that they do that? . . . . . . .
