On a 70 mph dual carrageway, the people that insist on pulling out in front of you to overtake another car, and sit at 60 mph! FFS smash
Absolutely. Also those who overtake at 0.0001mph speed difference.

Look you fking s, I know it's very exciting that you managed to achieve 735mpg on your st box diesel by driving so slow but some of us actually have places to go. If you're too poor to drive at a reasonable pace on the motorway get the fking bus with the rest of the paupers, in the meantime fk off to lane 1 and get out of my way.
Honestly, I think you are doing very well in disguising the fact you are a BMW driver. I don't think anyone is on to you... hehe

In all seriousness though, it is a right fking pain in the arse when people feel the need to do this. If you are going to move into the outside lane, at least do the speed limit. It is not much to ask, and if you can't do that you shouldn't be driving!

I see this daily. Top of the range Thundercocks!
It's intimidation, "let me out or I'll keep inching forward until one of you has no choice." I never let them out.

These hyper-milers are the scourge of the modern road, if they're not overtaking 1mph faster they're causing trucks etc to overtake them, either way they cause massive tailbacks which they don't give ash it about as they're taking the moral high ground and saving the planet.

My GF's ex boyfriend did this, keeping in the inside lane, forcing lorries to overtake him. She has a contrast with me cruising at about 80 ish! He was a tool outside the car as well.

Haha, I don't think there is a relationship between manliness and speed, I just like to get where I'm going. Also I don't have a bathroom full of 10 varieties of hair product and moisturiser. But that is another story.

That's brings me on to cocks who pull out of a junction and then block the lane while they're waiting for a gap in the opposite lane.

I'll await the flaming but I do this! The road I live on exits onto a 30mph limit main road, which most of the time is just creeping along at walking pace. I can sit there for ages if I just wait for someone to stop and let me out and gaps in the traffic are non existent between 8am and 6pm. People will creep along and just block off the junction. If you wanted to turn right across the 2 lanes of traffic and didn't "push in" then you would never get out.

The thing that p*sses me off is when there is a small gap which you could pull into and some people visibly accelerate to close the gap so you can't pull out then quite often have to actually stop across the front of you.

That's annoying, especially if the crossing traffic is going so slowly it wouldn't make any difference. As long as you're indicating of course. But in your situation, letting you out wouldn't slow me down so there's no reason not to.

On the headlight dipping thing, I tend to dip mine as soon as I notice, but if the oncoming driver carries on approaching with main beams on, I admit to sticking mine back on in petty retaliation. Trouble is, that often leads the oncoming vehicle lamps getting even brighter when it turns out they weren't on main beam, just badly adjusted. I then have nowhere to escalate to, and have lost the competition.

No flame from me as this can be a big problem in the me, me, me selfish-UK of today. It did not used to be like that but, that was a long time ago.

What can often work is not to encroach over the white line, fully wind down your driver's window, extend your arm out of it with a thumbs up  and a big smile on your chops. Can be very productive in my experience. Even superior Gerry Product drivers play nicely sometimes.

However, I do assume 'knob' mode when someone does encroach and do not allow such types out. This is doubly true when I allow one non-encroacher to emerge in front of me and driver behind the first then forcibly try to encroach and try to take advantage. I am always ready for that and do not play ball, particularly if its WVM trying it on. If the second driver does not encroach, I'll let them out. That way we spread the goodliness ethic ... although, most falls on stoney ground in the former green and pleasant now.

Me, me, me NOT you! I'm considerably more important than yow...so there .. wink

Turn up on her doorstep with some hand cuffs and chains and see what she says.

I promise you. I would touch her with any of your barge poles.

The prat WVM this morning along the motorway in thick fog, just enough visibility that I could make out the cats eyes just at the end of my dipped beam so I had slowed down, WVM barrels past at about 80. He must have radar on board as if there had been a broken down vehicle or crash in th live lanes he would have just ploughed straight in to them.

Why can't people drive to the conditions?
