He Read the following
British Gas are to raise their prices next month
Then turns to the resident BBC 'expert' and asks this
What effect will this have on Domestic bills?
George you dumb ... they will go up. Oh FFS and he gets paid how much to do this??
Yeah but, yeah but,,,,, all those media types are ever so cleverer than the average and deserve to be highly over rewarded.... almost as bad as the once fashionable highly over rewarding of failure.George Alagiah on the 6 oclock news

What really pissed me off was one well known 'job for life' BBC media smoothie presenter, when interviewing a lottery winner about what he would be buying, castigated him for not considering buying a British car! A few days before, same smoothie presenter admitted he drove a 5-Series. Double standards over rewarded plonker!

there's a canal bridge (water is under) near me that is just about wide as a car. This happens all the time, and causes carnage!then drive past these signs

1. Those people at the back of a queue who, when you're driving up to the back of said queue (usually at traffic lights) and you've adjusted your speed just right so that you as you reach the queue it will be moving off and you dont have to stop - decide to stay stationary for 2 seconds after the car in front of them moves off so you have to come to a full stop and then start from 0 again when they actually decide to move.
2. Those people who sit in slow traffic queues and leave big gaps in front of them so that by the time they get to the front of the queue they are about 20 cars further back than they would have been if they'd kept a more reasonable gap instead of tempting everyone in the other lanes to fill in the gap in front of them. (This is annoying if you are behind one of these people).
3. People who come off roundabouts or whatever and join 70mph dual carriageways and take ageeeeees to get up to speed. You're behind them and half a mile later it's still 62......63......64.....65 and you never know quite whether to overtake them or if by the time you start getting past them they'll finally have got up to speed and then you have to floor it to get past them (and then they overtake you later at 81....82....83mph).
4. People who during rush hour queue at traffic lights that only allow about 5 cars through and sit there for 5 seconds before moving when they've turned green. It's just inconsiderate.
That wasn't one single thing (also I've posted before on this thread), but never mind.

I do this in traffic as it prevents a load of stop-start traffic thus everyone keeps (some) momentum. I guess I must be a 'knob'. 2. I'm all for keeping momentum but it's a judgement call, if you leave an enormous gap then invariably loads of people in the other lane(s) seem to be compelled to fill it in, it's a case of trying to keep moving without leaving so much of a gap that loads of people cut in front. I know it's a trivial thing but my brain makes me get annoyed when the person in front does it wrong. All that jazz said:

People who pull out onto main roads by going halfway and forcing oncoming traffic to stop.
On an equal level of cocksocketry, those people that come to a near halt from 30/40mph to let someone out of a side junction thus causing a concertina effect for everyone following and bringing everything to a standstill. Doubly annoying when you're the person immediately behind them and there is nothing behind you for miles so they could've easily pulled out after you've gone past. If you are someone that does this then you a KNOB of the highest order. Bring the potato harvester home tonight down an unclassified road. There is enough room for 2 cars to pass. There is enough room for a tractor and a car to pass. A tractor pulling a potato harvester with a car trying to pass is a squeeze. No matter, I am only going 300 meters.
My lights are one. My beacon is on. I am indicating right.
I am indicating to turn into the farm yard rear entrance.
There is mud on the road that has scrubbed of the trailer tyres as they turn into the entrance.
I have a dirty vehicle.
Did I mention I was indicating right?
The road is narrow and an ideal place to wait for a wide muddy tractor, indicating to turn into an entrance, would be before you pass it.
Not the rocket scientist in the L200 with low profile "I've never done any proper work" tyres on. No, Stephen Hawkins here drives past the entrance and parks across it. Mainly because he is a tit, put partly because he his used to bullying smaller vehicles.

I have to agree. Driving standards were shocking. Saxo driver (or similar fwd hatch) yanking on handbrake to try and induce oversteer but went off 3 times in a single lap. People ignoring blue flags and refusing to let faster cars through. I thought Lydden ran their events better than this? Shame.Lunging accross the grass and even contact was seen. Driving back home in my role as designated taxi driver for my brother, NSL road, one of the 40mph crew ahead of me, I plan the overtake without even thinking about it and indicate on a straight, pop out, stick the high beams on because he hasn't got his on and overtake. Guess what? He decides to stick his high beams on, sending a bright beam of light straight into my car and most importantly the mirrors.
So you drive at 40mph because speed kills and then blind anyone who dares to overtake you?
There's only one word to describe that and you all know what it is.
