Hi I am heading upto to Beverly near hull on the m1 this weekend, and was just wondering what the roads are like once off the motorway. If there are some fun country lanes I would pop up in the mx5 but if the roads are dull I will take the focus and go an economy run. Thanks in advance Sam

I leave the M62 at Junction 38 at the signs for North Cave (B1230) and follow that through North Cave and then Walkington, over the Westwood and into Beverley. It's quite a short country route, but all good. Depends how much of a detour you would want to take, as there are plenty of twisties around up there.
