What classic car. 15K - Just dreaming.

That's a difficult call.
If I could afford the running costs, I'd be really tempted to buy something like this:

But it we're talking about a more sensible proposition, then maybe this:

Something I've always wanted, and for £12.5k, it would be lovely for wafting about in. A 3.8 too.
But old cars are my love and it would be something different tomorrow.
Tried to get my Mrs. to have a look at another XJS last week, but she told me there are more important things than cars.

I always had a soft spot for these:
I'm the complete opposite, I never liked them. But now, I would love a good unmolested 300/350 SL.
Started looking into them recently and this place has some beauties:

Another age thing perhaps?

I've found a nice car, but I'm not sure if it is a 'classic'. I'd appreciate someone stating the criteria.
Just stick it up. It's only about 19.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that, a true classic in anybody's eyes. Possibly the best variant too, the 4.3.

That's what I thought. Unfortunately I've not spent any time around TVRs (but I'm only 15 so there's time for that and I'll make sure I do) but from what I've read the 4.3 seems the best variant of, in my eyes, possibly the best TVR.Possibly the best variant too, the 4.3.
Though I wouldn't mind a T350c .
I like a project so at £15K I'd more than likely buy a (just roadworthy?) Series 2 E-type. Why a series 2? They're the cheapest of course
If I was going to buy a classic in beautiful condition, I'd buy one of these -
Today that is ... I think I could just about raise £15K selling all my cars, I've just said that out loud my "E" might not be toooooo far away!
OH would kill me though, he loves our BGT V8  :evillaugh:
