my car revs itself when it wants when im driving even when im stationary any ideas what it is??

Does it do it when its cold or hot or both?

Idle control valve would be near the top of the list

Probably an idle control valve issue. Some of the dedicated Citroen forums might be a good place to ask.

it happens worse in the morning and it just does it all day hot or cold it just needs to stop

See i told you, combobulator, a bit of carb cleaner around the various parts and wazam!

MAF or ICV is worth a poke.

I can't cope with a longer answer, but honestly its worth getting one, looking in the fault finding sections then booking it in aware of the problem (probably cost you less if you have a bit of nouse' )

idle control valve. Common problem on cable throttle engines (as opposed to 'fly' by wire)
