Not sure on the quality, but the specs and prices seem pretty good.

There's a blue round here that I've seen a few times, managed to get a cheeky look round it when it was parked up. Actually not a bad looking car, it's quite distinctive in traffic and stands out from the usual procession of BMW 1 series and hatches that seems to make up most rush hour jams!
Maybe you should drive the cars before you judge them.
I have & they are actually good cars which appear to have been designed properly, they are well built & the are perfectly good enough to be taken seriously.
As an ex MG salesman (when they were badge engineered heaps of crap) i was pleasantly suprised when i drove one at Goodwood last year, it was a left hooker with soft non-european suspension, & when i drove three UK spec cars at Prodrive's Kenilworth track a few weeks ago.
They are good cars so give them a chance.

Which is the maximum permissible weight when full of people and luggage. As above, kerb weight (the weight of the car) is just under 1500kg.
Oh yeah.. missed that bitThank god it doesent weigh 2 tonns!
I'd like to see them do well on the basis that the cars are designed and built in Britain but we have a habit of sneering at our own motor industry don't we.
Also, the only engine from launch is a petrol which only gets 35mpg combined which seems at odds with what the family car buying public want, I'm not sure who they see their target market being with this car?
