Serious call for assistance, I read a thread about a week or so ago on the topic of an accident/insurance scam.
The short version is it involves 3 cars, first 2 are apparent scammers, 3rd vehicle is the target.
The description was that the 1st vehicle performed a violent manouevre (and cleared off) that caused 2nd vehicle to perform an emergency stop which causes a rear-ender with 3rd vehicle.
I'm not sure how the scam works, I can only guess, but daughter number 1 just called and described the exact same (or very similar) events done to her without any knowledge of said scam.
Does anyone remember reading this thread and which forum it was in please?
I have heavily trawled SP&L with no results but I have a suspicion it was in a different forum.
