Perhaps you do, but my local ones don't. The point I was making is that calling police musclecars ste from the position of "we used to run a single 400bhp ford with better suspension so neeeerrrrr" is a bit silly when the equivalent home grown motor over here is a white astra with fluorescent stickers on it... wink
The majority of US cars aren't muscle cars either. The whole department I was with had Ford Crown Vics. It was like a canal boat. Didn't turn, couldn't stop and couldn't go particularly fast either. (Although it did have a big shot gun next to me, which I thought was nice)
Yes and the majority of UK cars aren't the Jags, BMWs and Range Rovers you mentioned earlier either. nerd
Are you being deliberately obtuse or is this just how you are? laugh

what parallel universe are you posting from these cars dont even have independant suspension and a 'live' rear axel witch is the norm for a horse and cart a volvo or a bmeer would cream the chevy the srt8 and the camaro...

but in the straits would be admitedly be a different matter...
stop believing/misquoting Clarkson, Corvettes and Camaros do not have live axles, corvettes never did (neither do horse carts - they don't actually have driven wheels you know)

...and get some English lessons
I'll second that.

Ignorance is bliss. rolleyes
im not quoteing clarkson american cars as a genral are crap handling point and shoot cars that have st build quailty and drink like a space shuttel i would much rather have a volvo or a bmw or even an astra...
That statement would almost be accurate- in the 1970s. As far as now, I have to assume you either are having a laugh, or are talking out of your @r$e.
are you taking the piss american cars are crap handling end of hence the name yank tanks... rolleyes
Crap handling? Z06, ZR1, Viper ACR, Ford GT, Boss 302, Chapparal 2J, any Can-Am or Trans Am series competitor, Cobalt SS, Shelby GT350...

I laughed when I saw this in NYC;

I stopped laughing when this chap told me to stop taking the piss out of his company car;

I went round the corner and found these guys who seemed to have a better idea when it came to transportation;

This one was parked outside of the school I work at in Brighton about a month back. Is it based out of Hove and in regular use? I don't think we had any police in doing promo talks at the time...
Yes, currently in Hove and in regular use. It's used by the Neighbourhood Policing Teams across the division for general patrol. I'm not that keen on it, I prefer driving the Focuses.
