Insurance for young driver

Admiral Multi car policy
Not going to wake the key board warriors up again but I pay £1600 fully comp on my coupe with a list of modifications and I'm 17 ! Had a quote the other day for a 1 off payment of £300 I can change to an E36 328is for 6months (which is when our renewal is due) 328is at 17 is wicked ! Just need to find a good one now.
We get loyalty discount etc and we have 4 group 20 cars on the policy aswell as 2 other lesser cars so it is really cheap for us.

19, and still paying 1600+ for insurance on a 1.2 Corsa ...
Things really have changed. Sucks to be young now.
Seriously though, I just looked at the Parkers website at the insurance groups and it seems that even my old 2.0SE Bora would now be group 17!? Did this all change? The groups seem to go up to 50 nowadays - I thought 20 was the maximum!? I'm really confused now!
Fiats (Panda, Seicento) and Fabias do look good value on insurance, but even a Kia Picanto is a group 9 FFS.
