Competition: Win Tickets To The Moving Motorshow

Ford offers 10 PHers the chance to go to Goodwood in June

Ford - reasons to be thankful no. 1074
We've got a lot to thank Ford for: the GT40, the Sierra Cosworth, the RS200, the Transit and of course the, er... Fusion.

Today we have to thank them for something else as our Brentwood-based friends have donated ten pairs of tickets (worth £40 a pair) to the Goodwood Moving Motorshow which takes place on the Thursday prior to the Festival of Speed.

The Moving Motorshow is a chance to see (and possibly drive) some of the latest cars, as many manufacturers lay out their wares for you to sample. In total there will be at least 22 manufacturers in attendance including Morgan and Ferrari.

Ford will be displaying its new 240PS Mondeo, and tell us it's the first chance to see the latest Focus estate.

In addition to the manufacturer displays, many of the Festival of Speed features will be open too, so it's a great chance to see the static bits of the show with far fewer people around than on the main festival days. Just remember to keep your wits about you...

To be in with a chance of winning one of the ten pairs of tickets simply email competitions@pistonheads.com with your name and address details and 'Ford Tickets' in the subject line. We'll pick ten winners from the PH Stetson at 12.00 on Friday 3rd June, and as long as you can make your own way there - you'll be in!

Thanks to Ford for this generous donation, and we promise that all our winners will come and nod approvingly at your cars.

I went on the Thursday last year and thoroughly enjoyed it as it was much more relaxed and less busy, hoping to take my uncle this year who's had a dodgy ticker and just had a pace maker fitted as he doesn't feel he'll be comfortable with the crowds etc on the main FOS days. smile

So what's the crack with driving the cars? Do you just arrive and say 'please Mr Ford, can I drive your shiny car?'
