OP. You come across as a nice guy but in this case too nice. Stop allowing this to drag out or you WILL be stuck with a broken car.

You paid for it, it has faults that the dealer needs to be told about and have fixed. Don't drip feed them as you have on here but put them all down in writing and have it sent to them Recorded Delivery. Before doing so get thee to the CAB for proper advice (as opposed to what you'll get on here.

Do it today.

If it's from a dealer there is a degree of guarantee that car must come with, as it must be fit for purpose.. Someone else may know more than me.
Whilst cars are covered by consumer law, it is a total nightmare trying to force a dealer to repair faults due to the complexities of proving that a fault was present when sold and not caused by abuse and so on and so on.

This means that you need to deal with issues quickly and assertively - get the car back to them and insist it's fixed ASAP.

Don't expect a courtesy car tho - they're under no obligation to provide one so you have to ask nicely and hope. DON'T let them use the lack of a courtesy car to postpone getting your car fixed - the longer it takes to fix, the harder it will be to chase-up other problems later - call a cab!

Personally, I'd return the car to them with the list of faults and tell them I expect it back in a couple of days OR I'll be around for a refund - their choice (this is almost impossible to achieve legally but it shows you're serious).

I'm betting you're soured on this car totally now tho - you'll spend the rest of your time with it listening for faults and being annoyed - the gearbox, even if it's brand-new, will feel wrong, the doors will squeak and so on.

Might I suggest you return to the 'stealership', choose a different car and do a deal for it instead? They should do that because they can just bodge your car's faults (instead of properly fixing em) and resell it to the next mug...

The guy which owns the garrage is really brief on the phone and tries too finish the call quickly, or so it seems.
Well the car is going in next week, and I have noted all of the problems with the car. Of which if they aren't fixed, I will be demanding a full refund. I don't want to be stuck with a car which is going to cost me a fortune.

Sorry what does "CAB" mean?

Citizens Advice Bureau - sounds like he's taking the P - he has your money and the car it would seem......

Doorstep him in the morning for a friendly chat.

Send a letter, only costs a few quid for special delivery and they will require someone to sign for it.
