Road trip questions!

A few months ago some lads started an impromptu trip to the mainland from the East midlands, I think. The poster was posting on here every few hours with an update. Does anyone have a link to it- as I forgot to bookmark it!

I did Rome to Coventry in 20 hours in a knackered E30 320i, 3-up, with side skirts made from beer cans, after my mate had accidentally got third instead of fifth in the "throw-a-six-to-start" gearbox at an indicated 1.1Leptons. No issues at all other than the caffeine shakes (oh and the fact that the diff seized 500 miles after getting home...)

Took my old 172 ph1 to the south of France on about 150k, fully serviced and the like. Gearbox gave up the ghost on the autoroute around Beaugency(south of Orleans) and I was stranded there for 6 days!

Saying that though when it eventually returned home on the back of a transporter I fixed it up, and took it on the following road trip..... Wales>England>France>Spain>France>Luxembourg>Germany(Nurburgring)>Belgium>Holland(briefly)>France>England and then finally back to Gods country. The car had about 170k under its wheels by this point!

In summary, you only live once so get on with it!

I call bullpoo ,thats a heck of a distance and i dont think its possible
