Just had a spitfire pass overhead. Why do they never fly these things slowly so you can have a better look?
Anyhow - how many mpg do they do? ( at cruising)

what about a new spitfire ?

never before (or since) has such a st car EVER been made

rusts like crazy - couldnt go around a corner over 20 mph without the rear

wheels tucking in - then trunions that wore out in 30 miles

engines were gutless too.....

unsafe at any speed

2mpg for a car with that Merlin engine.

Edit: it's probably time more than miles , so minutes per gallon. These engines like big V8 don't notice if they are doing 100
or 30 like a BMW 7 series.
