Just bought a older car and some muppet has used those horrible dashboard wipes all over the interior, including the steering wheel - making it dangerously slippery.

What's best to get rid of it without wrecking the leather?

Autoglym car interior shampoo is pretty good. It'll take off any of that shiney stuff favoured by taxi drivers!

Leather cleaner, I'd imagine. Those "wet wipe" type leather cleaners seem to get most things off and don't dry the leather out.

I did that once and it only took a couple of drives before it was back to normal. You could try a damp cloth if you're really desperate though.

Now baby wipes we have plenty of.biggrin
