What's peoples thoughts and experiences of these?

Will any provider cover a car over 10 years old? I've looked a a few websites and it seems that 'wear and tear' covers alot of potential claims?

There are very few that are any good even on cars just out of warranty let alone a 10yr old car. Good one I know of is Car Car Plan.

Isn't the Tesco one meant to be pretty good?

Oops may be not. http://www.tescobank.com/personal/finance/motoring...

That didn't last long did it?

Not worth the paper they're written on. A 10 year old car is either disposable or repairs are likely to cost less than the warranty would have.

I hope the 2001 BMW m5 I just picked up is not disposable? I'm also pretty sure the repairs will be more expensive than a warranty?

"Sorry sir, that's not covered". Get used to hearing those words.

I agree.

Pop your cash in the bank instead.

Thanks for the advice, had a feeling that might be the case.
