What a terrible, terrible advert.
But nevertheless - I was at Lotus a few weeks ago and they had loads of such cars being worked on, it was brilliant to see. They are driven all around the world and the engines are fairly straight forward, so it's likely it does have the engine. It's not like the current F1 cars that need 20 laptops to start it

Come on, people! I need a price.
I hate POA just sell me the sodding priceIt was about 100,000 euros.
Surprised it doesnt say;
'no test pilots'
'not for the faint hearted'
and even more surprised the ad didnt start 'Here we have my F1 car, its been my pride and joy for 2 years but its now time to let the old girl go as we are expecting our 9th child and the social are gonna pay for us to get a mini bus'

Unless they have a lot of history (eg ex-Schumacher car) they often cost less than a new Ferrari. HOWEVER, expect to spend that much every year if you intend to do anything with it. Yes, sad enough not only to have thought about it, but gone into costs of running, transporting, engine leasing etc. It would be completely epic to own one though!
