So octane reckons that a veyron engine is shorter than a lambo v12. What would you transplant it into?

might well be shorter, but it's one hell of a lot wider

They also state "easier to package" whatever that means.... Still quad turbo w16..... Hmmmm

An L322 Range Rover, it was originally engineered to take the BMW V12, so it should squeeze in as that's not a particularly narrow engine bay either. It'd probably notice the 450kg lump over the front axle less than many cars. Gearbox might be tricky though...

Some quick sums based on a supercharged V8 one's numbers say that 1000bhp would get it to 175mph. But that's based on a top speed of the original car of 140mph, and I have no idea whether or not that's limited - seems it is?

For some reason and with memories of the Chris harris veyron review, I'm thinking Clio v6. I suspect the handling may suffer though!
