Both available as options on many BMWs. I have the HUD on two cars and it is the future. I haven't seen night vision, so I can't judge its value.
I have HUD, night vision, SAD (Sleep Auto Drive) and ASS pedals (Auto Shoe Shine). Don't know how anyone can drive anywhere without them myself? Ocho said:

OK, OK, I apologise for being a grumpy bugger. I had you down as a chestwigger.
No problem, Zod. Not quite sure what a "Chestwigger" is (Google didn't help - just brought up half a dozen other Pistonhead threads!), but I don't have a wig anywhere (yet) and will never (likely) have one on my chest... (Never say never - I'll try anything once!)For all those moaning, I'd like to mention that I bet this is intended for gestures, not buttons (which would definitely be a bad idea). So following the iPhone example, making a pinching motion with your fingers could turn the radio down. Gestures on a touchpad are intuitive, easy, and if designed to suit, could be performed mid-steer etc.

Almost as easy as, say, flipping a volume down paddle on my car. I say almost because I don't have to take my hand off the wheel to use mine Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
