Just seen some shots of the new Lotus Elite and it's saddled with one of the ugliest steering wheels I've ever seen.

Let's see the steering wheels you love (and any you can find that are uglier than this).

I hate the current Skoda steering wheels;

Makes the interior look like a grinning idiot.

This on the other hand looks lovely;

Can't beat the Personal wheel in a TVR.

I also loved the slim Momo in my MX5:

I think that 355 wheel is the same as the one in my Impreza.
For some reason i quite like it in my car but it looks so wrong in the 355.

rofl That Lotus steering wheel is awful.

I hate the modern tendency to make steering wheels on sporty cars (1) not round (2) too thick and (3) too small. On and the stupid thumb dimple things that some wheels have - awful things. Steering wheels should be thin round rims make of a single material in a single colour with no sticky-outy bits except the spokes connecting them to the boss.

The Lotus wheel is horrid. I like the small, plain wheel in my Elise.

This is pretty nasty, to my eyes:

That Lotus steering wheel is horrendous, even the upholstery of the leather appears to be of poor quality.

Looks like one out of a mk.3 Astra with a Ferrari badge glued on

The tiny Momo wheel in Caterhams is pretty cool too.

Anything with the logo embossed into the plastic instead of being a proper badge is automatically ste.

Airbags kind of spoiled steering wheel design, also buttons. Hardly anything from the 90s has a nice steering wheel thanks to having an airbag the size of a fax machine stuck in it. Not that the pre-airbag wheels had much thought put into them.

Sadly I've never cared for the two spoke TVR wheel, just seems unbalanced.
