I see this quite a lot at one of the garages I deliver to, fancy sticking up a link to the build thread?

The RS 200 would need to be a rally car or a seriously tuned model. The cars ford sold to the public only produced 250bhp out of the box and were not actually that quick.

I'm sure I've read that the GTR can do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

Perhaps a thread for 0-60 in under 3 seconds would be more interesting/less populated.

I don't really understand the point of your story; "Jags with bald tyres don't brake well"?
Apply one or two glasses of red... All I was doing is characterising the nutterness of your average jag driver. They're like this with the new ones as well. I met a bloke today who was going on about how cheap he'd just got this X-type diesel and how many miles it had done and how good it still was... He may have had a point but even in the face of irrefutable evidence I would still deny the diesel creed any admittance to my private kingdom.

Very few cars would beat one to 60.
My Caterham would. It would also knacker it to 100.

Only the 4.5 (4.2s to 60 for the 4.2, and 4.5 for the Speed Six I think). Has anyone actually clocked one at 3.9s to 60?
Autocar only managed 4.3s to sixty in the 4.5...much to my disappointment!

Its unlikely the cerb 4.5 would clock 3.9s to sixty in reality, but at least the handbook says it will!!!

TVR honour is restored by the Sagaris though, as Autocar report they got 0-60 in 3.9s (compared to the claimed 3.7s) and 0-100 in 8.5s

Can we try that on a damp road?

My VXT does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds on a gentle launch, I'm guessing if you hammer it, a 4-second 0-60 would be possible. However I love my car too much to do that to it. (mine's slightly modified)

Evo 8 MR FQ400 and Evo 9 FQ360 can but how many times without killing the clutch I wouldn't want to find out.

Can we try it in the dry too given Evo figured the 997.2 Turbo S 0-60 in 2.9s?

Damp Cadwell absolutely, although I doubt that many would show.

The Supercharged VX220 I got a run out in with bald tyres would do it easy, and for under ten grand.

Jaysus it accelerated like a motorbike but more sideways. I reckon on good tarmac and only driver, not much fuel and no sympathy for the clutch it could do it.

4 seconds to 60 really is quick and 3 seconds must be mental.
