Finally get a chance to use these pics I took a while back, 2 transporters both fully loaded with brand new hearses and the odd private ambulance. All Mercs I think. Just a strange sight on the M6.....

Before this I was about to ask, sure it wasn't a Ford Fairlane/Falcon... but... blimey.

I love the Falcons, IMHO look a lot smarter than anything else that springs to mind. Not sure what coachwork, but the last funeral I went to had Falcons and they were very understated yet sleek looking vehicles.

Last year I had a big shock and needed surgery/chemotherapy... in case it didn't go to plan, this was what I asked my family to do for me. I wanted my friends to have a smile instead of a sob.

Thankfully- as you've probably guessed- the surgery/chemotherapy *did* go to plan, and touch wood it'll stay that way. smile

My dad passed away nearly four years ago. He owned a recovery company for 20 years, and one of his wishes was to put the coffin on the back of our tilt slide transporter.

In the end, I just couldn't do it. Instead I transported all the flowers to the crem on the back and organised with the help of local recovery companies, a fleet of tow trucks behind the hearse.

Anyone know what Enzo Ferrari's last ride was in? Or Ayrton Senna's?
Senna's state funeral was in the movie I watched on Sunday, he had pride of place on the back of a fire truck.

Nor does the cyclist sweat or eat anything but home-grown food.
