Finally get a chance to use these pics I took a while back, 2 transporters both fully loaded with brand new hearses and the odd private ambulance. All Mercs I think. Just a strange sight on the M6.....
Mark
Ones on the bottom look like Aussie Ford FalconsMark
ETA: Yup, Fairlanes, Falcon's posher brother: http://www.coleman-milne.co.uk/new-cars/ford-cardi...

There!! That!! Bad!! Wrong!! I quite fancy the Austin Princess though, bit of retro kitsch there!
I love the Falcons, IMHO look a lot smarter than anything else that springs to mind. Not sure what coachwork, but the last funeral I went to had Falcons and they were very understated yet sleek looking vehicles.

I couldn't stop laughing at this picture for some reason Thankfully- as you've probably guessed- the surgery/chemotherapy *did* go to plan, and touch wood it'll stay that way.
My dad passed away nearly four years ago. He owned a recovery company for 20 years, and one of his wishes was to put the coffin on the back of our tilt slide transporter.
In the end, I just couldn't do it. Instead I transported all the flowers to the crem on the back and organised with the help of local recovery companies, a fleet of tow trucks behind the hearse.
