Watch out, he might claim you tried to plant that rust, and that it was perfect before you got there.

I havent repaired a 205 for a good few years, but last time I did one, you could get pattern front wings for £12 each, or £15 for the GTi ones (extra holes!). Admitedly we're talking 10-15 years ago, but if they still make them, I bet they're less than £30 (plus paint & fitting). I put a whole front end on one, 2 wings, bumper, bonnet & all headlamp panels, cost less than £100 in parts!

Think hes having a giraffe. If thats what the wings are like i dread to see behind the headlights, boot floor, under the bonnet.

I picked up a solid 20k mile 205 1.1 litre for £300 with 12 months tax and test and it was reliable with no rust. This was about 18 months ago but still nothing has changed. I did scrap it in the end though but only as i was playing russian roulette with the cambelt. (it snapped)
