Lings Cars

Hi all,

I don't post very often, more of a lurker but I just had to write this as all you see at the moment are threads about bad service etc.

Recently a mate of mine leased a car through Ling, after me telling him about the site. So I thought I would have a look round the site as it's quite a mad site I found a little quiz with a neat prize for getting three questions right.
I answered all three questions and made a little comment on how I referred my mate to the site etc. Yesterday I received 2 envelopes full of pin badges, some Chinese sweets and a set of Ling car mats!

I'm thinking of leasing in the next 18 months just to experience having a new car (never had one). She has certainly won my future business. Has anyone else ever leased through Ling, or have any similar stories?

Well, I was carded by the Postman, and had to collect them. Was a nice surprise, and they arrived on my birthday!

Ling makes car leasing ammusing. Which is at least impressive. I know she's spammed in the past but I can't help but like her

Ah, sorry, I didn't realise. I have no affiliation, I was just surprised at receiving car mats in the post for doing a little quiz

I gave them to a guy in purchasing where I work, he has a 160k miles Passat with no mats and a hole in the drivers side floor

I work in a Telecomms company in the north west

I don't always give stuff away to people who I work with, so don't go applying for a job.

Lings is an example of doing something so wrong that it becomes a positive.

I don't recommend copying the idea tho

You can't mention Lings on here as it counts as advertising. You can mention most other car related companies though, especially Petrolhead Nirvana. Mention them lots and youll be fine

She seems to be about the only leasing company worth dealing with so maybe this veiled advertising is a good thing?

Never leased through Ling but I would definitely consider it, regardless of her slightly obvious spamming attempts (I suspect they fit in nicely as part of her carefully crafted image) it looks like a good company she's built to me.
