What 'bits' of cars, the detail do you really like and admire?

I've always been impressed with the attention that was paid to the MK1 MX-5 door handles:

The subtle power bulge of a 2.8i Capri:

The sweep of the Cayman's rear wing:

The way a MK1 Tigra's rear light cluster is profiled to match the boot lid:

I've always like the way the rear window on the MK1 Focus 3 door comes down to a sharp point. The triangular theme in the styling of the car works really well.

That used to REALLY annoy me with my Focus, the fact that right at the back of the 3dr window (By the boot) it breaks off into a plastic triangle section, really spoils the line!

Not that anyone really cares about the lines on a Focus, but still.

To be honest, when I had my Zetec I liked looking at it. Looked good for a Focus! Lovely design and a nice drive too. I miss it more than my head says I should!

Aston Martin door handles. I especially love the little lights in them.

Rotary design in the seats of the RX8 is very devil in the detail cool.

I love these too, it's so elegant!

I adore the sequential tail lights on Yank tanks, particularly the Mustang - That's one thing our Dodge Challenger hire care failed on, not having sequential turn signals frown

Bit of a 'homage' to old Italian designs.

This is a Fiat 124 Spider door handle:

I think alot of Italian cars have the detail thing sewn up.

I want to nominate the complete rear end of a Brera:

But I'll settle for the rear light cluster on the 159/Brera. smile

A really little detail I like is how some Volkswagen headlights have the VW badge in them.

Can just about see it in this pic

I recall, back in the day, my boss got a new company car, to replace his Chavalier.

It was a B5 Audi A4 TDI... and I'd never seen pop-up headlamp washers before.

Here's an oddity:

MkI Prelude clocks.

Rev-counter inside the speedo gauge.
