Saw this a few weeks ago on Hammersmith Flyover. Seemed particulary appropriate as it was a very hot day. Mr Walls perhaps?

That first appeared on a Metro back around 1982/3. I had that car for a few days on loan whilst mine was being serviced.

Gloucestershire registration.

No - the 'F' and the 'C' have been photoshopped out wink

(See two posts earlier - a bargain at £329 from DVLA).
Having to use Photoshop to make a non-descript registration illegal doesn't make the Chav Plate thread let alone this, Shirley.

Shamelessly "borrowed" from the 63 plates thread (props to blakewater) to illustrate a point

I wonder if car makers get first dibs on these types of appropriate plate or do they just have to be quick off the mark when they become available?confused

Maybe it's just me, but at first glance, the back of that Merc looks like an S15 Nissan Silvia. The lights especially!

As the next DVLA auction is there, do you thing it was part of the deal? Throw in SL63 AMG and we'll throw in something for the team wink?

Yes, DVLA seem quite good at spotting meaningful plates. I tried to buy "LA60 NDA" on the day that 60-plates were released for sale, but it was 'reserved for auction'.

Gah- over the weekend somewhere between Southsea & Folkestone I spotted my second single/single in a few days and again no pic as I was driving. :

9P on a sort of beige-y mushroom coloured (but not as bad as it sounds) Mercedes C-class
