Don't know why G1 PSV is good - ?

Saw yesterday G1 PSY (without a space) on a matt tangerine orange coloured Bentley Continental driven by a women who looked the part.

I think the spot belongs more on the Chav Plate thread than this one though ...............?

I don't know how this stuck in my head, but...
About 20 years ago I read an article about this car, I think in Classic & Sportscar magazine. The car was (then) a one-owner vehicle, and the guty was recalling how the dealer phoned the local licensing office to ask for a 'real good' plate! They said that the OXO series had mostly gone to commercial vehicles, but if he was not supersticious, 13 was still available. The dealer later had a call from the office supervisor asking him to stop approaching his staff for good plates for his posh cars!
If only that were possible today, DVLA now milking that cash cow for all its worth!

Save your wrong spacing chat. It's a good plate, so there.

Thanks for the information as I find it very interesting, could you tell me how I can find out where other numbers were issued and where.

There's a retired optician who lives in the same village as me and for many many years has had " 4 EYE " which has been on many top model cars but now resides on an old VW Golf.....cool

Sorry, font and spacing both condemn it to the other thread IMO

I'm 99% sure I've seen this car before and have a photo of it somewhere. I'll have a dig around tomorrow and post my pic if I've got it smile
As promised:

This spot is actually from a few years ago. I used to have to get 2 buses home from school - in between getting them I would wait in Westerham (where the 2nd bus picked me up) and was passed by this car most days biggrin

Saw this a few weeks ago on Hammersmith Flyover. Seemed particulary appropriate as it was a very hot day. Mr Walls perhaps?
Didn't that belong to tbops / icemanbops?
