Save your wrong spacing chat. It's a good plate, so there.
No it's not - it's crap - only (slight) saving grace is the pillock that owns it hasn't merged the 1 with the L - although I suppose there is still time rolleyeslaughgetmecoat

Anyway, back to some decent plates from today smile

These 2 mercs were parked 2 away from each other so I think they were probably husband & wife, just seemed a bit coincidental to have the number 27 smile

Game keeper spec?
The older (76MV) one is an ex "north Yorkshire electricity" 110 hard top. The other is a 110 station wagon utility.

I'm sure it's been posted many times before but I'll use the SS at AMHQ as the excuse

I don't know how this stuck in my head, but...
About 20 years ago I read an article about this car, I think in Classic & Sportscar magazine. The car was (then) a one-owner vehicle, and the guty was recalling how the dealer phoned the local licensing office to ask for a 'real good' plate! They said that the OXO series had mostly gone to commercial vehicles, but if he was not supersticious, 13 was still available. The dealer later had a call from the office supervisor asking him to stop approaching his staff for good plates for his posh cars!
The site I work at owned OXO 1 TO 10 years ago (we produce all the worlds OXO cubes)
we also used to own PEA 1 to 12 (Mushy Peas) Sadly only OXO 1 remains.

Saw this a few weeks ago on Hammersmith Flyover. Seemed particulary appropriate as it was a very hot day. Mr Walls perhaps?
Didn't that belong to tbops / icemanbops?

Interesting as 1CES lives near me in Warrington (in Winwick). Hear a few stories of where he made his money etc apparently once owned the franchise/rights to the word Ice Cream. His other cars have good regs including a GTR with PH5.

ETA Just realised he sold up last month to move to a castle in Yorkshire. still a fair trip away from Hammersmith

Reminds me of our first visit to Tesco's in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Bentleys, Ferraris and Porsches outnumbered the Metros and Fiestas smile.
