Truly a stinker. I'm useless at modern low-production supercars, and duff Yank concept cars, but I pride myself on 50s stuff. But I'm at a loss.

The bodywork is generic early-50s Continental. I immediately thought of Simca and wondered if they ever made a few Simca 8s as a saloon, but can't find any reference. The image provided is obviously a cut-out from a press release or magazine, and the wheel size isn't readily apparent.

There is nothing in Georgano's encyclopedia - I've been through every page!Arrrggghh...

I checked Georgano and no, there's no picture of it although it is listed. The wheel size is 400 x 13, if that helps. The image I cropped out of a single-page scan I saved from who-knows-where sometime ago. It is continental Europe, sometime in the 50s...
