Guess the car!

Buick?
Those three little vents on the wings were a Buick-thing, also the chrome embellishments on the front look typically American.
Although I though most Buick's of this era were fairly rounded, it doesn't fit the design language I'd have expected.

Mathis 666
Well done Plinthhttp://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp-content/upload...
Plinth wins!
The 666 was a 6 seat, (flat)6-cylinder, 6-speed "car of the future". It was FWd with fully independant suspension all round and a respectable 30mpg achieved by following the American method of a large, low-stressed engine that did very little revs in top gear.
Unfortunately, it was a little too wacky for most and despite a more conservative re-design, failed to achieve proper production.
There was also the Mathis 333 - a 3 cylinder, 3 seat 3 wheeled microcar made from aluminium. that also unsurprisingly failed to take off.
