RE: Production Aston Zagato Edges Closer
Discussion
It's not the first time we have seen concept cars called Zig and Zag - Ford has already done it:

i want to take the wheel designer at gaydon aside and tell him/her how utterly inappropriate recent aston wheel designs are
as if the v12 vantage wasn't bad enough they offer these?
Fail
Completely agree.as if the v12 vantage wasn't bad enough they offer these?
Fail
If I could ever afford a V12 Vantage, (which I can't) the first thing I'd do is fit the wheels from an earlier V8 Vantage.
i quite like the looks of it, a smaller boot lid style spoiler would be better than the snowboard currently strapped on the back of it. but then I could be considered as an uneducated 'yoouf' compared to the acquired tastes some of you longstanding forum members have.
the wheels in this CGI model are naff, but could end up being changed, as could the spoiler, buy the time production begins. And im sure its not like there wont be an options list for upgrading the wheels on it through the sales team either.
The last time i didn’t have an option to change the wheels on a new car was when i picked it up from the scrappy . . . . but only because it came without any rims!
the back end of it reminds me of a pissed of storm trooper or an angry Transformer

Then you'd find that you'd have to put £15,000 of pads and discs in the bin since the CCM discs & pads on the V12 will not fit inside the V8 wheels. If I could ever afford a V12 Vantage, (which I can't) the first thing I'd do is fit the wheels from an earlier V8 Vantage.
Each to their own!

I assume it's an offset issue then?
Either way, I'd find a way to keep the CCM brakes and still change the V12 wheels.
No offence intended, I just think they are a bit 'bling' for an Aston Martin.
