Embarrassingly: Ford Fiesta 1.25, and Transit/Mondeo diesels of the same era.

I heard what I thought was an Audi Ur Quattro blat past the house a while back, but it sounded more exotic somehow. Managed to catch it the second time - Audi R8 V10. Fantastic noise.

I thought that was good until I heard the Lamborghini version

A lot of the other cars i recognise have been mentioned. I only recognise the X5 3.0D as the next door neighbor has one.

Ice cream van..
It was done on the previous page, it failed the first time because an ice cream van isn't a car.

You didn't read the title nor the previous pages in the thread.

hehe
How can you not allow Ice Cream Van ,when Transit VAN has been mentioned quite often in this thread ? Or is a Transit VAN a car? So here,s another,A Routemaster Bus getmecoat

I can identify many of the above big petrol v8s and 6s but the curiously unpetrolhead sound I can distinguish is the Honda 2.2 cdti as found in civics, accords, crvs. Has a lovely chirrippy spaceship sound as the turbo spools up.
