Another Jensen FF, possibly an even cooler one.

There's a few suggestions creeping on here which don't really meet this requirement wink

Iso Rivolta. For sale now, in Germany, for £55,000.

Is £60k enough for a decent Vantage? I thought they were getting up to nearer 100k now - not that it makes much differnce to me frown

Superformance Coupe.

Modern interpretation of a 1964 car now recognized by Shelby so a good investment too.

Here's one within budget:

I love the Aston suggested too..

Ferrari 308 GTS, it will drive better than anything that has been mentioned so far and a 70's design icon, although I admit I am biased. Otherwise for me its either a s1 E-type Roadster or a GK1....

You could get a very nice Lotus Cortina for that sort of money. Not the most beautiful coachwork but it would be a minter, maybe even have a bit of competition history and could be eligible for historic events like the Revival. But I'm just saying that because I really want one.
Likewise, always like the Mk1. Had three myself, I just want a nice 2 door 1500GT

Bloody hell, I do like that! However, it's not quite classic and not quite investable!

A good 308 sounds like fun, but I was hoping for something more rare.

308 GTS is a fine car however to me that Aston from pg1 wins hands down it is stunning.

You are right! It is not a Vantage, I couldn't justify dropping any more into a toy! I have my E55k for speed!

It is one of the first OI series V8's and in spectacular condition. The service file is quite a read. someone has spent a lot of money getting it right, some very scary figures in there!

Having idly considered a Countach about 5 years ago for £40k, I just neasrly died on seeing they seem to have exploded in value. I knew they were on the up but there is one in the classifieds for just shy of £400k!!!!
