Great engineering, I believe they produced the fastest GT when they came out, and their interiors are just stunning.
Indeed, especially as another requirement was "ecelctic" ...

Although I am not a BMW person, at all, I understand they command a great following and I know enough to understand the 2002 Turbo is particularly sought after. It was the eclectic and coachbuilt bit which I was querying.

p.s. I would discount Ferraris for the same reasons. indeed the 2002T is rather more ecelctic than the Fezzer smile

Sadly a cabrio would probably be outside even £60k ,John Haynes has a humble '66 220se cabrio at a modest £85K.Still the Se coupe is just as stunning in my view.

Good choice there Bob. I've watched these over the years rise from 10k and expect them to keep rising. One's 59k would be safe.
