It will be ok for off-road use though? Except that the exhaust may be too loud says the seller! Bit of a limited use car then

why you want to use it off-road?

any non-registered track-day Locost with a modern zetec engine will cost 3-5k and can do anything better and faster.

the car is advertized as a road-legal car even it isnt and it never was!!

it was most likely built in 1994 (pre-SVA) registered with a Ford Anglia or Popular V5c...even nearly all compements i can see on that car are from a Ford Escort.

My comments were somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I agree with you entirely, the car's not a good purchase in any way .

Whenever I see this...

....I look for this.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-CORTINA-MK2-1969-L...

eBay are accessories to the theft of thousands of motor vehicles in the UK alone.

Time to step things up again.

Low life scummy little rats selling this ringer for sure. Birmingham breads them. Never park a performance car in the NEC car park and never buy a car from Birmingham.

What's your issue? or are you just trolling (in which case I've fallen for it!)
I guess you've never had a car stolen (thankfully I haven't either) but I feel for those who have.

I don't mind because every troll post bumps the thread, more people see it and awareness is raised. For or against; law abiding or criminal it doesn't matter.

I imagine the only people who have issues with this thread are the ones who are either aiding and abetting thefts or actual thieves.
