Roof comes off when the weather is dry and either it's a long enough journey to justify fiddling about removing and refitting it or I'm happy leaving the roof at home.

Roof never goes up really on the MX. Unless the other half is driving it, because she doesnt want her hair getting messed up, although on this new one, she doesnt know how to use the electric system, perfect!!

Rain, snow, whatever, its down. There is a corker of a pic of me on some country lanes last year in the 207cc, november time, driving past all the abandoned cars with the roof down!

The roof goes up when it's parked or very occasionally if it's absolutely hammering down. As long as I keep moving most of the rain goes over my head, unless the windows are down (as usual) when it wraps round the windscreen pillars and runs down my arm or drops into my lap - looks great when you arrive at your destination by which time the sun will be shining and everyone thinks you're an incontinent.
As for abuse, loads over the years but nearly always in town centre traffic - had a bottle thrown at me in my Panther Lima by half a dozen lads shouting "F*uckin' yuppy"! Mind you, I had a whole bus shelter thrown at me by a bunch of skinheads when I was out on my BSA chopper many years ago....so it could just be my personality....

Just popped into town/Shell/Tesco with my girlfriend. I wasn't allowed the roof down. frown
I need to buy her a hat and scarf to keep in the car so she'll let me.
