The company I work for has employed the services of Ben Collins as a publicity stunt for the Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen this week.
He is coming into the workshop tomorrow for a visit and a chat.
I was just going to ask him if he is on PH and what was his username.
Anybody want me to ask him anything? It has to be reasonably sensible as it will be in front of my workmates and if I start shouting custard or something they will think I have gone crackers.
I also thought about calling him Tiff at every opportunity just to piss him off.

Wheres that Jason Plato thread? biggrin

I've watched him race a few times most recently I watched 18hrs of Le mans on tv and he was a very very quick driver.

What I'd like to know is firstly what he drives ad if he has anything like a classic weekend car. Then I'd ask his opinion on what is the best track to drive on in the UK specifically for a track day.
I'd also ask him what his plans for racing are for the next season.

Good idea about what car he drives. Also I'd ask him what cars he thought were the best to drive etc..

1) Go to your local "The works", buy a copy of this:
https://www.theworks.co.uk/product.asp?cid=&pi...

2) Present it to him to sign, complete with prominent discounted price sticker.

3) Ask him how the royalties are going, and was it all worth it smile

4) Run!!!!!

I would like to know what his honest opinion is of clarkson , may and hammond behind the camera so to speak, not the onscreen persona ? . Does he think he deserved the slagging off by clarkson for outing himself as the stig , to release his book ?.

Ask if he's ever taken his wife/bird/mother up the oxo tower... His response should be enough to tell wether he's a Ph'er or not...

Chatted to him over dinner at Spa earlier this year, came across as a very nice chap and spoke openly about his top gear days and current opinions of the team. I did remember to let go of his hand though....

I heard a talk he did, utter knob jockey!

He drives an S5 and doesn't have a good word to say about the Top Gear boys.

He didn't say one thing to make him sound more likeable, everything about him is utterly, utterly hateful...and there are genuinely few people I truly hate but he is right up there.
