I’ve watched this thread with interest, my Urus will arrive soon and it’s been very entertaining seeing the stir it might cause. I don’t pay attention to these things or get involved. I drive what I drive because I like it and I appreciate a nice car when I see one not try and judge the owner.
No, you only bought the car to impress other people, including outside school...apparently.

Or perhaps, those who think you are like that are part of the problem. Reverse snobs with chip on shoulder accusing others of snobbery.
PH seems to be full of them

That's an acceptable way to do it hehe

But rather than union flags, these would be particularly ace

Oh, I also have a pair of these genuine East German Diplomatic flags, mounted to removeable magnetic flag poles I made :-)

I found them on Ebay for £20 and they came with the original envelope addressed to the London residence.

Shame they aren't West German as the East German's would not have run around in a then top of the range Mercedes.

Kids have apparently asked their parents if I work for the Queen :-) but it is a Primary School.
Use the flags I posted above and you can say you work for the queen of Zamunda hehe

My commute takes me past a large private school at drop off time. Mostly it’s range rovers and XC90s, the only one worth mentioning is a Lamborghini Urus, which I actually rather like. I have seen a Bentayga dropping off, slightly surprised to have not seen a Cullinan there

Fortunately it is only a small albeit vocal minority. Most people actually don't give a st what car other people have.

My street cred hit the sky, the day my Late Dad rocked up, to pick me up from my private school, in Loughton, Essex, in his 70 426 Hemi Challenger that day in September 1972. I can still in my minds eye, see the stunned looks on the huge crowd of kids, parents and teachers faces as they stared, slack jawed @ that beautiful beast......
