I'm already starting to wish I had held out for a decent 328 smile, but apart from the lack of power there is very very little to fault. My mums 2003 Clio with only 22k on the clock sounds worse, rattles, squeezes and feels tired out already. Once inside this, you forget you're traveling around in a car that is nearly 20 years old.

I'm now a BMW convert. I'll be sad to see this one go in a couple of months.

Top shed! Looks better without the spoiler even with 2 rusty holes on the bootlid. Boot spoilers on any E36 need binning asap.

Hope you can stomach the power vs mpg longterm, it's what makes cars like this such good VFM.

I like the bootspoilers, but that interior looks really tidy for the age of it!
