I have always loved the look of the MK2 Exige but it has always needed more power. This 3.5 may just do the trick for me. I think 350 is a bit lite from that engine though and would have thought 400 is easily capable.

Will be looking in the classifieds in a fews years time smile

Put that body on the standard Evora S and I would have one. Not at £125k in GTE trim however. Still don't like the way the standard (revised 2012 model) looks.

Hoping that it's just a trick of the light in the photos but that windscreen surround on the Elise looks grey. Please tell me it's not.

anybody got any interior pics/info on the GTE/Exige s? Hoping either the Exige is liveable or the GTE is not totally stripped out....

I love how taking your ankles off with the splitter before lunching your knees and sending you flying over the top is "pedestrian friendly"! hehe

At one stage it seemed as if the company was being run by a 17 year old. Maybe some of the people in Hethel who know what they are doing got the chance to shine this time.
Perhaps Bahar hasn't got back from school holidays yet and someone has made a sensible plan in his absence?

Some of the most exciting stuff in years has been coming out of Lotus since Bahar took over. OK his press releases and plans may be OTT, however he appears to have shocked some life back into Lotus, and these cars have come out under his watch. Don't knock the man, he may well just bring Lotus back to where they should be, the old management didn't appear to be doing the company any favours in recent years.

The GTE looks consistently amazing. Worth going to see in the flesh, and having a play with its little brother whilst you're at it. The Evora is evolving nicely.

Hard to tell from the photos but are the wheels on this new Exige the same diameter front and back as on the Europa?

Cant wait, to drive 1080 Kilos and 350BHP ....
The Evora GTE also showes, that the new management is really serious about what they are doing.

Glad they used the GT4 rear wing on the European GTE rather than the rather square looking concept one... really suits the overall look of the car more IMHO

Yep, 17" front, 18" rear, so an inch larger each end than the previous Exige.

Early Europas were 17" front and rear, Europa SE changed that to 17" front, 18" rear.
