I see a Punto when I look at that, totally agree with the previous comments re the Zetec S, it already looks great, just needed more power!

As for the focus, it looks very very tame!

I like it too :

It's a subtle and discreet (I am not a chav, lol)
It should lose quite a lot value in 3 years
It's not a Renault so should be statistically more reliable
The front grille might be less obvious on a black car
We don't know how heavy it is but 180hp might be just fine, surely it's lighter than the Clio
by more than the difference in power so that's helping mpg, grip and handling even if straight line
performance is identical.

Never owned a Ford in my life but that's maybe why I am eventually considering one, now that they look sensible and not trying to
hard to look like something they're not ?

I hate to say it, but Vauxhall are now making far better looking cars than Ford.
I agree. The VXR range are far more tempting in terms of design, in comparison to the new ST range.

Didn't realise there was another thread on this, so:

Having just spent a few days driving a normal Fiesta they need to sort the steering, driving position, brakes and gearbox out rather than the wheels and bodykit.

Get it made! ...but yes, ditch the Aston Cygnet front end (as it was also my first thought too!)

Oldest trick in the book... it's not a concept, it's clearly production ready... The original TT had launched that scam of calling a car a concept when it was clearly already tooled up and ready.

Yeah that's what came to my mind the first time I saw it- an Aston Cygnet front bumper with Punto Evo lights!

+1 Mondeo ST, gone since Mk3. New Focus, ugly as sin. Current Fiesta Zetec S, looks great but no ST version. S Max, good looking car, no ST version.

It's nothing new doing that.
