As what exactly?

The DC5 would eat it round a track, beat it in a straight line, it's a nicer placer to be, it looks 10X better, what is the Ek9 better at?

Looks cooler? biggrin

I was watching a video of some racing drivers driving Integras and EK9s on track just this afternoon, while the Integras may be slightly quicker, as evidenced by the video, with fairly evenly matched drivers, there is little to nothing in it!

It looks like they've copied that SEAT Boca Negra thing. The current shape one is much nicer imo. If they stick with an NA engine then it will probably be a hybrid too, so what does everyone prefer a turbo or a hybrid?
Hybrid.

Absolutely, both are focused cars designed for fast road driving. As shown in controlled conditions, there is almost nothing in it between them. On the road, one is not going to open up a huge gap on the other, they are all superb driving machines. It's more a case of preference, rather than one being superior to the other.

Driving. Just because something is faster, doesn't make it better or more entertaining.
A DC2 is probably more fun on track, just, but thats because it's lighter and has better suspension. Some simple lowering springs and a decent Fast road setup and the DC5 handles just as well. It's also got a much better engine for road use and tuning parts are much more plentyful. As a road car it's superior IMO.

Granted there would be bugger all in it on the road, but thats true of all the hot hatches.

It's about feel. I've seen plenty of people who have gone from EK9s/DC2s to DC5s and want to swap back again.

They would be better off making a Jazz Type R for europe, with the K20 in it and light weight, it would be fantastic and much more like an EK than the new one will be.

Smaller, lighter, big engine, white paint, red seats. Job Jobbed.

They'd need to go back to a 3-door Jazz (and could to back to a turbo aswell) before many, probably including myself, would think about buying a quick version.

Meh I own a DC5 and it's nice and all. But it's still just a Honda smile Owners that get all defensive make me laugh; it's like they know it's not as awesome as they want it to be, so they overcompensate.

You have a really crap sense of humor don't ya? Should i add 10 smilies next time?

I just think the DC5 is a better car than the Ek9. Might be slighty different on track, though the DC5 must still post the faster time, but on the road, the DC5 is the better road car.
