I heard that Ozone is a factor, i.e. the gas which is produced naturally and by sparks, i.e. from motors when there is arcing, I guess Mig welding probably generates it,

So, perhaps store them away from anything with a sizable motor, such as domestic appliances, electric garage compressors etc.
This is true, but to put it into perspective, Ozone is heavier than air and is found naturally at tyre level every day, especially in towns and on warm days, so Ozone is a factor but tyres are designed to cope with it due to that constant exposure. I don't wish to argue and the OP can do as he pleases but I doubt if Ozone would worry me at all. There is no hardship in what you advise and I cannot be certain that it is as tiny a problem as i believe it to be, so I can see no harm in heeding your advice.
