Damn, I miss that car. I sold it for well less than half the current asking price as well frown
Prices on those are well into the Twilight Zone now - seriously tho, £90K is a bit barking!?

A good friend owned the GTR 600 before gmund cars and I can confirm that it's absolutely mental.. I was at spa with him the day that photo was taken and the flames were awesome! Very very quick car, comfortable and uber reliable.. He used to drive it to and from spa with no problems. Agree about the OTT looks but it does grow on you and looks brilliant in the flesh. Whoever gets it next will have an awful lot of fun.

Cheers,
J

That is a wonderful choice, and leaves enough change from the Ruf fettled 911 to buy a 996 GT2 to sit in the garage alongside it.

I loved that car too Guy, drove it when it was Pauls & wanted it so bad it hurt, just such a good all rounder, thrap on track or cross the Alps.

I was at Ruf last wk, drooled lots.

Well for starters an official car has a RUF vin
Not all RUF's have a RUF vin, it's only when they started receiving partialy built cars direct from Porsche, without a Porsche vin on them . . . . for example I used to own the mauve/purple RCT EVO (964 C4 cab based car)that was on RUF's website for a few years, it had a full Porsche vin, together with the Porsche options stickers underneath the front luggage hatch.
